WHAT YOUR FUTURE HOLDS

Being in a country that is full of uncertainty, I truly feel the meaning of VUCA now.

The news kept changing and the lockdown seemed to be forever. You can read the article here to understand how bad the situation became in August/September. There are 200-300 people who passed on every day. https://vietnamweekly.substack.com/p/how-will-ho-chi-minh-citys-lockdown

The country decided to remove the curfew and pledged to "live with the pandemic" starting from tomorrow after being in a bad state of locked down for 120 days. Are we finally reaching the end of the tunnel and seeing the light? It does not seem so, the virus is still here and the pandemic has not ended. Let us not take things lightly. But I really do appreciate the newfound freedom that we will be given from tomorrow onwards (I had made sure I have their local app to show the GREEN PASS!).

What will our future hold when we are still living in this pandemic? Despite the uncertainty, we still need to continue to plan for the future and not let things that we cannot control take control of us. Let us focus on things that we can control.

The least that we can control is how we want to accumulate our wealth and asset so that we can enjoy a little more carefree life (assuming that we can live beyond this pandemic of course) during our greying/silver yet exciting years.
