COVID-19 has disrupted our way of life and our livelihoods. The situation is very dynamic and is ever-changing. We can choose make use of this time to embrace what is to come, and to get ready for the challenges by improving ourselves, or we can choose to be panic and do nothing about it.

Being confined at home for a month (reminded me of my confinement period after the delivery of my kids) has not happened before and we are charting unknown waters. I still remembered the school closure for a week during SARs in 2003 and this (COVID-19) is a lot worse than SARs as it has impacted many people including myself, now that I am self-employed.

The challenges I am facing has not stopped me from trying to do my part, and hence #standwithyou movement has started

As we may be receiving more negative news (more death, economic downturn, etc), let us keep our spirits up and continue to brave on. So, #day1stayathome, I have started to share about some things that we can do to keep ourselves and our love ones occupied meaningfully at home (https://bit.ly/livelifewithcovid). Do give me your inputs on what else can I share with all of you!

For #day2stayathome, let us start a #payitforward challenge for this period! Choose one (or two) way as a way to encourage yourself and one another!

A new world with new opportunities will emerge when the storm passes. Let us stay resilient and emerge stronger.

Let us make use of the time during circuit breaker to have more time for ourselves and our family members and join us in bringing about positive change.
