Self-discipline (Part 1)

Today was a long day for me. My legs were aching after trekking and then I went back to office to do some work before meeting up with people and connecting with them. Here I am, writing this post at wee hours.


It really takes a lot of self-discipline and determination to complete what I set out to do - to do daily reflection and post online. There are so many other things to do! At the end of the day, it really boils down to what are the matters you feel are important in your life and make sure you can complete them no matter what.


Why is it important to instill self-discipline? It can be cutting down on your food intake, exercise regularly or in this case, writing my reflections daily. As human being, we are all tempted to indulge in luxuries of life. It can be simple luxury of sleeping or watching Korean shows.


In order to build and create anything I want to be, do or have in my life, it takes self-discipline. Only when we have self-discipline, we will gain freedom of creating the kind of life we want and so much more (link).


Self-discipline is really about conditioning your mind and body - create daily habits to make your desired state come true! Don't give up!
