I just back from holiday in Greece not long ago. While chilling and relaxing throughout the journey, I did a lot of thinking, soul searching and life reflection. I strongly believe that our creativity level is at max when we are at the relaxing/calm mode. One of the topic that I was pondering was how to maximise our in-born ability to make our investment decision better!

Let's take a look at our bazi chart. For plotting this eight characters, you can refer to the below.

bazi

When you look at the hour pillar, you should be able to see 2 characters in the hidden stems (highlighted in orange). These 2 characters show your investment capacity and affinity.

Map the elements (fire, wood, earth, water, metal) that you see in your chart to the following description and tada! you will straightaway know your investment affinity!

  1. Fire - Special knowledge/skillset

  2. Wood / Earth - Long term investment such as property

  3. Water / Metal - Short term trading such as equity, forex

For this example above, there are 2 elements, fire and earth. Fire represents special knowledge while Earth represents property and long term investment. You can read this independently or you can combine this creatively. Example, using Artificial Intelligent (fire) in property selection (earth).

Some may ask, if I don't see water or metal element, can I still buy stock/equity? The answer is yes! Buy it from value/growth invest perspective with longer term will be great! If you are looking at short term trading opportunity, you may not be doing very well because your nature may not in-tune to make a fast killing. You may not be decisive to cut loss, you may shift your stop loss or you may take your profit too quickly.

Do note that this post is discussing the investment opportunity and not the career opportunity. If you spend less than 10 hours or around 10 hours per week on this activity, then this is relevant. However, if you spend more than 40 hours per week on this activity, then you should be looking at the career or month palace and not this hour pillar which will be discussed in the near future.

Drop us a line if you have any questions. Have a great weekend!
